Lego The Lord of the Rings: Battle of Helm's Deep + Uruk-Hai Army

I'm proud to show you guys the two sets Battle of Helm's Deep and Uruk-Hai Army connected. The two sets combined consists of 1625 pieces. It's actually quiet big and takes up the entire top of my dresser. I figured I should show you guys what the set looks like with the two combined I personally think it looks more "full" and like it combined like this a lot more. I myself really enjoy it when Lego breaks down different sets that you can later combine. I would have been happy even if they broke up The Battle of Helms Deep set into different sections, allowing for you to spend a little bit of money at a time to build a "full set" instead of dumping a fairly large chunk at once. However, I can't deny that I really do enjoy it when I'm able to get a "big" box of Legos.

Lego The Lord of the Rings: The Battle of Helm's Deep

So about a day or so ago me and my fiancee finished building The Lord of the Rings Battle of Helm's Deep(9474) Lego set we split the build time up for this set in two days. This set consists of 1368 pieces, 9 sections,4 different instruction booklets, and has 8 mini figures. In The Lord of the Rings Two Towers movie and book, Helm's Deep was probably one of my favorite scenes next to the Tree Ents, so I really enjoyed building this set with my fiancee. Oh I also should mention that the wall is able to "blow up" like in the movie allowing for Helm's Deeps wall to be breached.

Lego The Lord of the Rings: Uruk-hai Army

This Lego set The Lord of the Rings Uruk-hai Army(9471) set consists of 257 peices. I actually really like this set mainly because it is able to connect to the battle of helms deep set, allowing some one who doesn't have much money but really liked that scene to get a part of it. It also consists of 6 mini figures and I also like how the ballista is able to actually shoot.

Lego The Lord of the Rings: Mines of Moria

A while ago I was lucky enough to be able to purchase and build this wonderful set. The Lord of the Rings: The Mines of Moria(9473) Lego set consists of 776 peices 7 minifiguers including the cave troll. I absolutly love this set, however the only thing that could make it better is if it included The Balrog. I'm hoping Lego will make a Balrog set kind of like the shelob attacks set.

Lego Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Collection Plans and Hopes

    So I'm really looking forward to The Hobbit movie coming in December of 2012. I've always loved Tolkiens fantasy universe, so I really hope that after they release more Lego sets revolving around Tolkiens fantasy universe such as the hobbit and lord of the rings. I'm really looking forward to building Smog the Dragon from the Hobbit.

    All right so some of the Lego Sets I plan on getting soon, if not the Mines of Moria set would have to be one of the two Helms Deep set. I would prefer to get the Lego Lord of the Rings The Battle of Helms Deep(9474) or the Lego Lord of the Rings Urak-Hai Army(9471) these 2 sets I'm looking forward to getting especially because they can be connected.

Well I don't have much more to say except can't wait for The Hobbit movie to come out and really hope that brings some new Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Legos! Oh and I'll give you a list of what me and my fiancee would also love to see in some Lord of the Rings/Hobbit Lego sets.

Lego The Lord of the Rings: Gandalf Arrives

Today I decided that I would purchase the Lego Lord of the Rings Gandalf Arrives(9469) set. It consists of only 83 pieces took me 10-15 minutes to build with my fiancee. The set comes with Frodo Baggins and I believe it's the only set to come with Gandalf The Grey. So far I'm really enjoying collecting the Lord of the Rings Lego sets. I'm really looking forward to my next purchase because I'm planning on getting the Lego Lord of the Rings Mines of Moria(9473) set which was one of my favorite scenes in the movie and even in the book.

Lego Lord of the Rings: Shelob Attacks

 So I told you all that I would be uploading a picture of the Lego Lord of the Rings Shelob Attacks(9470) set once I finished building it and I have. The set consists of  227 pieces took me about 30-45 minutes to put it all together with my fiancee the set comes with Frodo, Sam(whom I forgot to put in the picture) and Gollum oh and I suppose Shelob too but that should be obvious.

Today I went to the Lego store at the alderwood mall and purchased a new Lord of the Rings Lego set Shelob Attacks(9470). I was actually expecting to get Gandalf Arrives(9469), but my fiancee said we could spend a bit more and get this one even though she told me that she was scared of it, lolz.
I have yet to open the box to build it. However I'm going to go get it built tonight if not finished by tomorrow night at the latest and then I'll be posting a picture of it to the blog. Lego Shop!

Currently I'm heading to the lego shop at the mall. I'll most likely be getting one of the smaller Lord of the Rings set to build with my fiancee. I'm not quiet sure which set I'll be getting however I'm thinking it will be the one with Gandalf and his horse and cart. All right well I'm here now so I'll be hopefully taking pictures for you all and will be going now. Lego Lord of the Rings: Attack on Weathertop

    So the other day me and my fiancee went to the mall and they added a Lego Shop there. So after seeing the new Lego shop and looking around we decided we wanted to find Lego sets that we both would enjoy collecting. I myself have always loved the Lord of the Rings universe and she also enjoys it so we both decided to start a Lord of the Rings Lego Collection together. Here is the picture of the first one we decided to buy and build together. We didn't want to get one that was to small for our first one either so the Attack on Weathertop(9472) Lego set consists of 430's pieces and had us build it in four sets.
